What does creativity mean to you? That’s what 12 strangers, our DJ Uttng and myself asked each-other in a ditty little coffee shop in Kentish Town, North London.
I was at Be More Creative’s first salon, I didn’t know what to expect but our minds were curious and ears pricked. It was hosted by Jonathan Goldsmith a man who has had many lives, as a DJ, psychotherapist and now a creative coach.
After a few warm-up exercises we were fully in, immersed in a world of creative possibilities, with ideas bouncing around and metaphors coming off complete strangers. It was the first one of these events I’d been to be before and it was a real eye-opener. Being able to connect with other creatives, share my questions and most importantly be inspired by their stories was refreshing.
There are two more creative salons coming up and I’m going to be at both of them. If you’re looking for a creative breath of fresh air in North London, I’d recommend checking it out. Plus there’s free cake. Get your tickets here.
