The good people at Cutty Sark sent us some whisky. Note – if you send us a drink, then you’re automatically going in the good books.
They asked us to write a review of their tasty little tipple, which is kinda confusing as how does one review a drink? Especially an alcoholic one. Surely they are all great right? Well, here goes…
There’s a rich heritage dating back to 1923, but doesn’t really interest you. Just like McLaren have a long pedigree of automotive prowess under their belt, it’s not the first thing you think about when you see their cars on Top Gear.
What is important is that Cutty Sark Whisky works well in cocktails, where that heritage comes into play. We’re partial to the odd vintage cocktail and this whisky works a treat. Great in a Sling or an Old Fashioned, these are a couple of drinks that go down a treat this time of year at a retro-themed summer party or the Blitz Party.
