Born out of teenage rebellion, LeeFest started as an impromptu party in Denny Lee’s back garden. Ten years on the party is now an established festival and this year features headliners such as We Are Scientists, Ghostpoet and Lianne Le Havas.
This year is set to be bigger and better than ever with the Neverland theme transforming the festival into a magical playground. We will be leaving our grown up responsibilities at the gate, giving into the glitter wrestling, paint fights, drag queens, cabaret and gaming arcades.
Lost boys and girls can wonder through the enchanted Neverwoods, Mermaid Lagoon and the mysterious Skull Ridge. Here we’ll be discovering new music and entertainment, tucking into everything from grunge and punk to 80s glam.
Amongst the 21 venues and stages, we’ll be looking out for The Electric Empire and Inner Soul acts, they are presenting a line up of new artists such as the funky Glitch Hop DJ Odjbox and Brighton based band Demob Happy (check out the SoundCloud for a quick listen).
We’ll be keeping a ear open for Horse Meat Disco, Roots Manuva, Circle Waves, DJ Luck and MC Neat. If you haven’t booked them yet, tickets are still on sale! Get your hands on them quick.
Only an hour from London, we’ll be jumping on the train after work on Thursday, for three days of serious fun.
