Laser Face

No other industry seems to produce the sheer amount of unique designs or concepts like the watch industry. Gadgets come but once a year and clothes every six months. From limited edition pieces crafted from the rocks of Saturn and designed to handle the business end of a Katana to truly awe-inspiring concept pieces such as this, watches make me wish I had more than two arms.

Designed by Jihun Yeom this nifty bit of tech does away with the traditional watch face, dials and digits; instead proposing the use of lasers to tell the time. Yep that’s right, lasers, Jihun you are officially a being of higher intelligence sent down from the pearly stars above. Tapping the outer ring fires up the lasers that connect to tell the time – nifty.
