Asking yourself ‘Who Am I?’
Being a “guzzling Drum & Bass wasteman”[friends having labelled me that] – I take great inspiration from this genre of music that I listen to. Everyone asks themselves, some more often than not; those nail gnawing questions which are “Who Am I? Is the person I am really me?” My inspiration came the other day from no other than one of Britain’s biggest Raggae/Dancehall legends – David “RamJam” Rodigan. Knowing how much of a passionate individual he is – and for how long he’s been in the business for at the ripe age of 58, I found myself wishing I had been there just to watch him do one of the things he loves most.
