Bright Young Twits

Tokyo Flash always seem to be dreaming up ever weirder and wacky inventions to adorn those gorgeous wrists of yours. Pushing the envelope of bleeding edge cool, they have frankly outdone themselves this time with the aptly named Instant Trend. Their latest concept plans on keeping you connected by combining a digital display with real-time Twitter and Facebook updates via a bluetooth enabled phone. This is normally where the rational part of your brain interjects with ‘if only it were real’ well, if it gets enough votes, it might just be born.

All very uber cool, if a little impractical and potentially hazardous… A lovely little Italian bistro, enjoying a glass of red with your lush new flame and up pops a dangerous new Tweet from the ex announcing that haemorrhoid cream simply doesn’t work. AWKWARD.

Continuing the trend for all things Twitter related, our recent review of Decode at the V&A featured some very innovative interactive installations that visualised live Twitter feeds. Seems Twitter is set to conquer the world love it or loathe it.
