The Difference A Lace Makes

Laces are never given enough credit for what they do. I mean think about it, they keep your shoes on your feet which is pretty neat feature. No one wants to be running for the bus having their new sneakers flying off down the road, or crunching some beats at a Dubstep rave while your icy whites slide half way along the dancefloor. Not only do they quietly get on with their daily business, never asking for a thank-you or a kiss; They do it with style, aplomb and class. From adding that all important finishing touch to revitalising a pair of dusty old kicks that you just can’t bear to part with; laces are a necessity.

Take the two pairs of trainers in this post for example, painfully average white plimsolls and boxing shoes now look super swish. Both these shoes are from the Autumn/Winter 2010 Adidas Originals collection; yep that’s right, its only Summer but the fashionistas are already thinking of their Winter crepes.
