LED Festival

Words by Ursula
Where did our Summer go? Don’t deny it, as soon as you bought that brolly last weekend and spent it cowering from the grey clouds above you knew deep down inside that Summer had left us for good.
Fret not, there is one major bit of fun to look forward to though – August Bank Holiday is only 2 weeks away, and we are already getting pretty excited. Of course who wouldn’t be excited, it’s a 3 day weekend! We know you guys have been working hard, so what better way for the government to reward us than by giving us an extra play day to get messy and hear some bangin’ tunes.
As a clued up bright young spark you are sure to know that there are shedloads going on during this 3 day bonanza. Notting Hill Carnival is always the talk of the town, but what has really blown our cotton socks off (and taken the rest of our clothes) is… LED Festival! That’s right girls and boys, grab your Ray Bans, high tops and the last of your Summer rave wear, ‘cause this one is going to be mental!
LED is running over two days, Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of August at Victoria Park. The line up is pretty dang impressive to say the least. Not only are David Guetta and Leftfield doing their only shows for 2010; But Calvin Harris, Aphex Twin and Friendly Fires are also headlining, and that’s naming just a few! Whatever your pleasure, LED have got you all covered, from dedicated dance/electronic beat junkies, wobbly base line lovers to the virginal ravers, everyone can find their fill.
Location? None other than Victoria Park! No more muddy boots, bad night’s sleep, and dreading going to the loo, as the best bit of the festival is that it is slap bang in the heart of Central London.
Now you’ve had the rundown on where it’s at for the Bank Holiday Weekend, we trust you’ll make the right decision. Come rain or shine you can guarantee, it’s going to be intense.
Tickets are now available at LED FESTIVAL
