Detroit Lives!

Once the fourth-largest metropolis in America—its now called the Death of the American Dream. Detroit is a derelict, torn, hollow shell full of rubble and broken dreams. Perfect for Palladium boots to enlist the talents of Mr. Daredevil himself – Johnny Knoxville to strap on his khaki kicks and find out what this city is really all about.

Like a mighty phoenix rising out the ashes, Detroit is bustling with young creative talent, from graffiti artists to musicians. The city’s urban decay provides the perfect backdrop for punk band The Dirtbombs and hip-hop artist Black Milk to reinvent the state.

Detroit Lives! is part of a series that heritage boot brand Palladium have created in their quest to explore hidden, forgotten and abandoned places in urban environments. We first talked about their search for pirate radio a few months back. Stay tuned and stay laced.
