Club 21

Earlier this week we were very fortunate be invited to the opening night of Club 21 at 1 Marylebone Road, London (NW1 4AQ). Club 21′s mantra was to recreate the New York club scene that Warhol was famously a part of.

Walking through the grand doors each guest was given a special box containing sound art by Steve Piccolo. Each box was a little different with bits of artwork, CDs or random knick knacks in others. Not only were the clientele exceptionally well dressed in retroesque clothing, they looked like part of the scene, part of the artwork and part of a Warhol inspired fantasy. Club 21 merges the line between art installation and a hipster’s wet dream; Too chic for school!

We felt that we part of something a little bit special, I guess that’s just the magic of Club 21. She’s still open till Saturday 23rd October – so pop down if you can and experience the magic for yourself.
