White Women Are Sluts

Words by Alex.
I was recently given the opportunity to see the fresh VICE documentary ‘MANDINGO!’ The following is my recollection of the most fantastically surreal 45 minutes of film I am ever likely to see. The documentary follows VICE on their search for the underground world of the interracial gangbang seen. And boy do they find it! The film centres around Art Hammer, a well endowed black man who sells his crews party hosting services for a nominal fee. In order for you to fully appreciate what Art offers, I will lend you a line from the film:
“Professional, educated, physically fit, drug and disease free, well-hung black gentlemen that specialise in hot, intense, nasty gangbangs for couples who love black dicks”
I know, it’s brilliant!
Hosted by Alex Miller, who plays the role of innocent and naive Englishmen perfectly, manages to gain access into a land where big is great, black is superb and money conquers all! Following Art and his crew through Florida, we are able to engage in the logic of white women obsessed with the lifestyle, and it’s not as obvious as you may think, it’s not always about how hung these guys are but in some instances its more about escaping into a world where from their childhood it was the greatest taboo, sharing themselves with a black guy. The instances in the film where this is suggested are narrated neatly by Alex and fantastically awkward to watch.
Throughout the film it becomes apparent how confused both Art, his crew and the couples in search of their services are, with the question of ‘who is using who’ ever looming over the gangbang parties. As the layers of clothing are removed we are not only engaged by swinging cocks (of which there are plenty) but by the individuals within the film.
With the most surreal reasons for couples engaging in the gangbangs being thrown about, the couples end up making Jeremy Kyle guests look like a church group. The gangbang squad are swept away by their luck and success to become more than sexual objects, they become the perfect escapism for any white American couple trapped in their lives. A niche market that they are more than happy to exploit, as my old economics teacher used to say ‘where there is demand supply will follow’.
The film culminates in one sweaty, alcohol filled gangbang in a condo that has the same engaging element like watching your nana trying to work out how to use an iPhone. It’s painful to watch but for some reason you love the awkwardness of it all. Like any seedy film there are some victims. The women lost in the lifestyle, their husbands who think it’s good for the relationship and lastly Art who has seemingly has gone astray in the way of life thrust upon him after losing his job.
One thing is clear from the film however, that VICE have been able to find emotion and humanity in these characters is worthy of a plaudit or two. And I for one will never forget that night in East London where Art taught me that ‘white women are sluts’.
The film is now available to stream on VBS.TV
