Mr. Lacy – Clubbies

Sneaker sluts of the world rejoice, Mr. Lacyhas just released his first collection for 2011! First dropping are the two tone Clubbies. The first venture into printed laces, enabling people to rock two complementing colours in one lace, ending in the signature Mr. Lacy branded tips.

After months of agonising over which ones to spring for, having saved up all your pocket money and finally made the trip down to your local shoe emporium, there is nothing quite like buying your first new pair of kicks for the season. Like that new car feeling but just on your feet. Carefully negotiating cracks in the pavement, spillages and dancing on the least grimiest part of a dancefloor, you never want your little babies to get scuffed up.

For those of you not in the know, Mr. Lacy is a man with a dream, a passion for dressing up those sexy kicks of yours. He lives and dies by the sole, inventing ever more audacious ways to make sure your fully laced. More than just a way of keeping your sneaker’s on your feet while you’re running for the bus or busting a groove to a dubstep beat, they are a staple of the sneaker freak ensemble. We recently even spotted a girl on the train who had cunningly taken the ribbon off her Christmas pressies and turned them into a pair of glimmering laces!

Not only content with all that, he’s even gone and written us a little guide on how to tie them all up! Expect to see these dropping at all good Mr Lacy retailers in the UK this month.
