Glade Is Back

Glade is one of those festivals that we’ve all known about, but that only a few of us have actually been lucky enough to attend. Glade made the headlines last year for all the wrong reasons, when it got cancelled. It was a damn shame and the Summer festival line-up wasn’t quite the same, but they’ve now come back stronger than ever to right that wrong.
Glade 2011 is now at a new location in Norfolk. Promising to go back to the ol skool at Mansion House for a strictly limited 5000 lucky raveheads who manage to make it down on Friday 10th till Sunday 12th June. For the few of you not in the know Glade is one of the most iconic electronic festivals, and has been for some time. It was launched in 2004 by four like-minded friends who shared the idea that the UK needed an outdoor space where quality electronic music could be heard free from corporate sponsorship. Whereas some festivals have embraced big sponsorships to allow them to grow, and become the mammoths that they are today, Glade has stuck firmly to it’s roots. The result is one of the most chilled parties with people who all up for a good time.
But any festival worth it’s salt, is all about the music right? Don’t fret, Glade does not disappoint. This year’s big names are Trentmoller, Photek, Kraft Kutz, Drumcode and many more. Weekend tickets are priced at £135 and are still available here.
We’ll be down in force snapping you lucky kids for the site. Stay tuned and listen to their mix below!
