This June, Graduate Fashion Week extended another warm welcome to the Cloak & Swagger crew. Celebrating its 10th year, Graduate Fashion Week is the premier forum showcasing the best BA Graduate fashion from across the UK. These talented grads go on to design for the best labels on the high street (River Island sponsored last year) and beyond.
The crew feasted their eyes on a variety of mens and womenswear collections from the GFW FROW. Standout collections came from Northumbria University’s show on 5th June. The acid-trippy colour combinations of Maria Choumanidis’ collection were pretty unforgettable, and I adored the 1950s feel of Ellen Barnes’ pieces, particularly her tweed jumpsuit which is going to the top of my wishlist!
Some of the best outfits, as ever, came from the crowds. Stylists, students and fashion fans from across London and the UK were at GFW to soak in not just the shows but the exhibitions too.
