DS3 Racing Kicks

It’s been a while since we’ve written a blog post hyping up some new kicks we’re in love with. To be honest, we’ve not really been feeling many of the sneakers out there of late. But when we heard that car makers Citroen and clothing brand Gio-Goi were running a collaboration together, we just had to pay attention.
As an avid oyster card aficionado I’ll admit that I’m not the most clued up in the automotive world, but we’re told that these kicks come from an established racing pedigree. Their developed by Citroen racing who’ve won the World Rally no less than six times and drive turbo-charged monstrosities capable of chewing through tarmac from 0-62mph in less than six seconds!
And these DS3 Racing kicks take their design cues from Citroen’s sporty Essex boy racer car. There are even a set of Gio-Goi branded lace-tips to keep you looking fresh. But the sneaker freak in us can’t help but feel that these would look intense with a set of Mr. Lacy fatties and Fully Laced lace locks.
In the world of sneakers we’ve witnessed many collaborations, from musicians to graffiti artists and of course the always exemplary Adidas Originals. But we’re quite partial to this car maker meets shoe designer. The sneakers retail from £120 and are available online, ideal if you’ve been naughty or nice this year.
To mark the launch of Gio-Goi’s new Autumn / Winter collection, we’ve also got a free tee to giveaway to a lucky competition winner. Simply like our post on Facebook to be in for a chance of winning.
